Altivia acquires Kemira's ferric and ferrous sulfate businesses

Altivia Chemicals (Houston), a supplier of water treatment chemicals, has acquired Kemira’s (Helsinki) water solutions segment's ferric and ferrous sulfate businesses and production facilities at Houston. The company says the acquisition provides iron-based coagulant manufacturing capabilities to complement its line of aluminum and polymer-based products.
