Airgas acquires two packaged gases firms

Airgas says it is acquiring two industrial gas and welding supply distributors to fit its own product portfolio. Combined revenues for the businesses are over $30 million. Financial terms of the specific transactions were not disclosed. Airgas has purchased all the assets and operations of Metroplex Service Welding Supply, Inc.
