Airgas acquires oil and gas equipment firm

Airgas subsidiary Red-D-Arc has acquired D&D Power (La Vernia, TX), a supplier of mobile power generation, light towers, preventative maintenance, and other services to oil and gas exploration and production firms, the company says. Terms of the transaction, including financial details, were not disclosed. Red-D-Arc is Airgas’s welding-rental subsidiary.   D&D Power recorded about $25 million in revenues during 2012, Airgas says.
