Air Liquide Expands U.S. Merchant Gases Capacity

Dufour: Growth in select U.S. markets Air Liquide says it will increase liquid oxygen and nitrogen capacity by 50% at facilities serving the southern California market, and will build a new carbon dioxide plant at Madera, CA. Capital costs were not disclosed. The company cites strong demand in Southern California from industries including aerospace, biotechnology, defense, and food packaging. Separately, Air Liquide says it will add a combined total of 1,000 m.t./day of liquid oxygen and nitrogen capacity by expanding capacity at existing sites in Salt Lake City...
