AFPM asks EPA to reconsider biomass-based diesel rules

The American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM; Washington) has filed a petition with US EPA asking the agency to reconsider its final rule for biomass-based diesel renewable fuel volume, which is set to increase 28%, to 1.28 billion gallons, in 2013. The mandate will be costly and ineffective, AFPM says.
