Regions :: North America ACC's chemical activity barometer flat from November9:43 AM MST | December 18, 2012 | Lindsay Frost ACC says its December Chemical Activity Barometer (CAB) was flat from the prior month after four months of consecutive gains. The CAB grew 2.8% from its year-ago level and is now at its highest level since August 2008, Kevin Swift, chief economist at ACC, says. The stable CAB reading suggests steady, but slow, growth prospects for early 2013. The biggest gains have been in the housing market, Swift says. More new homes are being built today since July 2008.
