ACC regional production index up in February

ACC today released its monthly chemical production regional index (CPRI), which measures production by global region, up 0.5% on a three-month moving average (3MMA) basis in February. ACC says this indicates that the good start to 2014 continues. “Production gains in the Asia-Pacific and Africa and Middle East regions offset small declines and flat growth in the other major regions of the world,” ACC says. “The decline in global production of pharmaceuticals was offset by gains in all other major sectors of chemistry.” Year-over-year...
