Regions :: North America Bayer MaterialScience to Buy Arkema's U.S. Polycarbonate Sheet Business11:16 AM MDT | April 12, 2012 | Lindsey Bewley Bayer MaterialScience says it will acquire Arkema’s polycarbonate sheet business in the U.S., including the Tuffak-brand line of products used in aerospace, transportation and heavy equipment markets. In addition to the Tuffak line of sheet products, the acquisition includes production equipment that will be transferred to Bayer MaterialScience’s sheet business in the NAFTA region.
