Technip awarded sulfur recovery plant contract in Bahrain

Technip has been awarded a contract by state-owned Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) to carry out work on a sulfur recovery project at Bapco’s Sitrah, Bahrain. refinery. The lump-sum contract covers engineering, procurement, construction, and precommissioning as well as commissioning and start-up assistance for the modification of the number 3 sulfur recovery unit at the 250,000-bbl/day refinery. The project will ensure that the unit is capable of safely burning sour water stripper off-gas and becomes a viable spare for the new, fourth sulfur recovery...
