(Bangalore, India), a biotechnology company, has formed a joint venture in Dubai with pharmaceutical manufacturer Neopharma (Abu Dhabi). The jv, dubbed Neobiocon, will make specialty biopharmaceutical products for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) market. The new company is located in the Dubai Biotechnology and Research Park (Dubiotech). It will combine Biocon’s know-how and technology with Neopharma’s manufacturing capabilities and local expertise.
