Borouge Commits to Building Third Petchem Complex

Borouge (Abu Dhabi) has completed a previously announced feasibility study for the Borouge 3 olefins and polyolefins complex and decided to move forward with the project, which has entered the front-end engineering and design stage. Borouge, a 60-40 joint venture between Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (Adnoc) and Borealis, is scheduled to complete Borouge 3 in the fourth quarter of 2013, Borealis says.
