Borealis Doubles Net Profits with Borouge Making a Major Contribution

Borealis reported an almost doubling in net profits for the third quarter of this year but says it expects the fourth quarter to be challenging because of the political and economic uncertainties in Europe. Net profits rose 49%, to €107 million ($145.7 million) on 10% higher sales of €1.751 billion. Margins softened in Europe starting in May, however.
