Two Saudi polypropylene plants taken offline for maintenance and to fix technical problems

Sahara Petrochemicals says that its Al Waha Petrochemicals subsidiary experienced a sudden technical interruption in the cooling water system on 14 February, which resulted in the shutdown of all the production units. Al Waha, a joint venture in which Sahara holds 75% and LyondellBasell 25%, has been dogged by technical problems.
