Saudi Kayan to Start Production in Third Quarter; Narrows Losses

Saudi Kayan, a Sabic affiliate, said on Saturday that it expects to start trial operations at its Jubail petrochemical complex in the third quarter of this year. Mutlaq Al-Morished, chairman of the board of Saudi Kayan and CFO of Sabic, said in April that "implementation work is well on track and basic units operations are expected by second half of 2010."
