Saudi Arabia Plans Polysilicon Plant

IDEA International Investment & Development (Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia) is planning to build a polysilicon plant as well as a solar wafers manufacturing facility at Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. The plant will be designed for 5,000 m.t./year of polysilicon, of which 1,500 m.t./year will be converted into 55 million solar wafers capable of generating 180 MW of electricity.
