Sabic to produce technical-grade urea at Al Jubail fertilizer facility

Sabic will introduce technical-grade urea (TGU) this year, an offering that will enable diesel engines to run more efficiently and reduce hazardous emissions, the company says. The new grade will be produced at Sabic’s manufacturing affiliate Al Jubail Fertilizer Co. (Al-Bayroni) at Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia at a plant with capacity for 80,000 m.t./year.
