Sabic Cracks the Top-10 Club

Sabic beat out Bayer for the number 10 slot in this year’s Billion-Dollar Club, with 2007 revenues of SR126.2 billion ($33.6 billion). Sabic moved up one notch in the ranking due mostly to its $11.6-billion acquisition of GE Plastics last year. That boosted Sabic’s revenues by about $6.6 billion and made it the leading global player in engineering plastics.
