Rabigh II Offers New E&C Opportunities

Petro Rabigh, a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical, is close to starting up its $10.1-billion refining and petrochemical complex at Rabigh, Saudi Arabia—one of the largest petchem projects in the Mideast. The jv will ship 2.4 million m.t./year of product, including 800,000 m.t./year of monomers and 1.6 million m.t./year of polymers, to destinations including China, India, and Europe.
