Prequalified Contractors Bid for Second Phase of Petro Rabigh Deal

Petro Rabigh, a petrochemical joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical, has completed prequalification for the main management and design contract for the jv’s second phase of development, according to a report in the Middle East Economic Digest (MEED). Prequalified firms will bid this month for the $6 billion-$8 billion contract, which will include front-end engineering and design, project management consultancy, and construction management services, the report says.
