NatPet Diversifies Downstream, Completes Reliability Tests

NatPet (Yanbu, Saudi Arabia), a subsidiary of the Alujain Group, is diversifying downstream into plastics processing, using polypropylene (PP) from its 400,000 m.t./year Yanbu operations. The company is planning three downstream projects, including geotextiles as well as two as yet undisclosed operations. NatPet has already signed an agreement with partner Low & Bonar to build the geotexiles manufacturing facility at Yanbu.
