(Sipchem) says it has awarded the engineering design, procurement, and construction contract for a previously announced ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) and low-density polyethylene (LDPE) complex to GS Engineering & Construction (GS E&C; Seoul). The plant will be built at Jubail, Saudi Arabia and have a capacity of 200,000 m.t./year. It is due to start operating in the second quarter of 2013.
