Kayan, Safco, Sahara and Yansab report third quarter results

Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company (Kayan; Jubail, Saudi Arabia), a Sabic affiliate, reported increased losses for the third quarter of 2012. The company’s third quarter net loss rose to SR178.37 million compared with a net loss of SR35.16 in the year-earlier quarter. Kayan’s net loss in the second quarter of this year was SR382.32 million.  Operating loss reached SR24.86 million. The company started commercial operations at the Jubail manufacturing complex on 1 October 2011. Kayan says that the decrease in losses in the third quarter of 2012...
