Operating income fell to $191 million compared to $862.8 million in the corresponding period of 2008. Revenues were down to $1.083 billion compared to $2.08 billion in the second quarter of 2008. The company says that volumes sold during the quarter were significantly lower, although "selling prices of potash and ICL Performance products were higher."
