India Slaps Definitive Antidumping Duties on PP from Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore

India has imposed definitive antidumping duties on imports of polypropylene (PP) from Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore. The Ministry of Finance (New Delhi) slapped provisional antidumping duties in July 2009 on PP imports from the three countries, and decided this week to make the measures more permanent. The duties will be in force for five years from July 30, 2009. The move had been expected after India's commerce ministry recommended in August 2010 the imposition of definitive antidumping duties on PP from the three countries.
