Four contractors bid to build Sabic-Mitsubishi Rayon MMA-PMMA complex

Four engineering contractors have submitted bids to build plants producing methyl methacrylate (MMA) and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) in Saudi Arabia for a joint venture between Sabic and Mitsubishi Rayon, according to Mideast press reports. Daelim Industrial, Technip, Técnicas Reunidas, and CTCI (Taipei) are competing for the engineering and construction contract, the reports say. Further details have not been disclosed.
