(Sipchem) has signed a technology license agreement with ExxonMobil Chemical for a previously announced 200,000-m.t./year tubular high-pressure, low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) plant at Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia ( CW, May 18/25, p. 19). The plant will be built as part of Sipchem’s third manufacturing complex with completion expected at the end of 2013.
