Regions :: Middle East :: Saudi Arabia Evonik, Tasnee and Sahara Link in Superabsorbents JV in Jubail7:48 AM MDT | April 26, 2010 | Natasha Alperowicz Evonik Industries, National Industrialization Co. (Tasnee), and Sahara Petrochemicals signed a heads of agreement in Riyadh today to build a superabsorbents plant at Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Evonik will hold a 25% stake in the yet-to-be named jv and Tasnee and Sahara will have the balance. The plant will be designed to produce 80,000 m.t./year of superabsorbents and start production in early 2013.
