Chemanol Takes Methanol and Dimethyl Formamide Plants Offline to Carry Out Improvements

Methanol Chemicals Company (Chemanol; Jubail, Saudi Arabia), a producer of methanol and derivatives, has taken offline its methanol and dimethyl formamide plants for a period of about 12 days, starting October 12, 2011 to carry out technical improvements. The aim is to enhance efficiency and productivity of the two facilities. Chemanol will make an announcement about the exact timing of a return to commercial production.
