CTCI Wins Ibn Rushd's Aromatics and PTA Expansion Contracts

CTCI (Taipei) has won the bid for a previously announced aromatics and purified terephthalic acid (PTA) expansion planned by Arabian Industrial Fibers Company (Ibn Rushd), a Sabic affiliate, at its Yanbu, Saudi Arabia complex. CTCI's two lump sum engineering, procurement and construction contracts cover the construction of an aromatics complex, utilities and offsites as well as the doubling of Ibn Rushd's PTA plant to 700,000 m.t./year.
