Süd-Chemie Brings Catalyst Plant Online in Qatar

Süd-Chemie says it has started up its new catalysts facility at Mesaieed, Qatar. The company invested in the “low double-digit million euros” in the new facility. The catalysts will be used to convert natural gas into diesel in gas-to-liquids (GTL) processes, as well as in other processes that convert natural gas into high-grade chemicals.
