A joint delegation from the companies was due to visit the Qatari government last week to discuss the proposals. Reliance and Gail agreed last December to explore opportunities to establish petchem complexes in feedstock-rich countries outside India, as well as examine possibilities for cooperation in the Indian market (CW, Dec. 12, 2007, p. 5).
