Regions :: Middle East :: Qatar Reliance and Gail India Seek to Establish Petchem Plant in Qatar7:25 AM MDT | July 4, 2008 | Deepti Ramesh Reliance Industries and Gail India (New Delhi) plan to make a proposal to the government of Qatar to establish a $1.3-billion petrochemical plant in the country, reports say. A joint delegation from the two companies will visit Qatar next week to discuss the possibility of building the plant, reports add. Reliance and Gail had signed an agreement last December to jointly explore opportunities to establish petchem complexes in feedstock-rich countries outside India.
