Qatar Petroleum and UOP sign natural gas research agreement

Qatar Petroleum (QP) and UOP, a Honeywell company, have signed a joint research agreement into process optimization of carbon dioxide (CO2) and sulfur removal from natural gas, the companies announced today. The agreement was signed by Qatar’s minister of energy and industry and chairman of QP, Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada; and Rajeev Gautam, president and CEO of UOP.
