Oman Restructures Refinery and Petchem Operations under New Name

Oman has completed a restructuring program, which combined and integrated its Oman Refineries and Petrochemicals Co., Aromatics Oman, and Oman Polypropylene, under the new name Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Co. (Orpic; Muscat). Orpic is owned by the government of Oman and by Oman Oil Co., the country’s energy investment business.
