The plant will have capacity for 330,000 m.t./year, of which 150,000 m.t. will be PET resin and 180,000 m.t. will be amorphous PET sheet (APET). The APET portion of the complex will be based on Octal’s proprietary direct-to-sheet technology, which “provides a quantum leap in manufacturing efficiency and quality,” the company says.
