Octal Pursuing Lead in Consumer Packaging

Octal (Muscat, Oman) is investing $300 million dollars to expand its amorphous polyethylene terephthalate (APET) sheet-making capacity from 30,000 m.t./year to 300,000 m.t./year. The expansion is expected to come online in May of next year at the company’s Salalah, Oman manufacturing complex.
