CB&I details Orpic's petchems project award in Oman

CB&I today detailed its contract award by Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Co. (Orpic; Muscat). CB&I’s contract, valued in excess of $40 million, covers the supply of ethylene and front end engineering and design (FEED) services for the previously announced Liwa plastics project at Sohar.    CB&I's project scope includes FEED services for a grassroots 800,000-m.t./year ethylene plant, pygas unit, methyl tert-butyl ether facility and butene-1 unit as well as for two polymer plants, a gas plant and pipeline and the related...
