BP and Oman sign major gas and acetic acid investment deal

The government of Oman and BP today signed a gas sales agreement and an amended production sharing agreement for the development of the Khazzan field, with BP as the operator. The full field development will involve a drilling program of about 300 wells over 15 years to deliver plateau production of 1 billion cubic feet/day of gas and 25,000 bbl/day of gas condensate.
