Kuwait Details Olefins III; Mohammad Hussain to Succeed Al Terkait at Equate

Kuwait’s previously announced Olefins III project is expected to be completed by end 2016, Maha Mulla Hussain, chairperson of Petrochemical Industries Co. (PIC) told CW recently. It will be designed to produce 1.4 million m.t./year of ethylene and less than half that amount of propylene, Hussain says. Downstream facilities will include polyethylene and ethylene glycol.
