Stolt Tanker Suffers Explosion

One crew member is still missing after an explosion on board a chemical tanker in the Arab Gulf on March 15. The ship, Stolt Valor, is owned and operated by Stolt Tankers, a Stolt-Nielsen subsidiary. A coalition warship provided assistance on site to the stricken vessel, and 24 of the 25 members of the tanker's crew were reported safely on board the warship. Stolt says it is working in close cooperation with the authorities on site, to establish the whereabouts of the missing crew member and the condition of the tanker.
