Oman Pulls Out of Fertilizer Joint Venture Project in Iran

Iranian news agencies announced on Saturday that Oman has pulled out of a fertilizer joint venture project, citing disagreement over the price of gas. The announcement, quoting Abdohossein Bayat, managing director of the National Petrochemical Co. (Tehran) and the country’s deputy oil minister, says Oman refused to continue with the project after a dispute over the price of gas.
