Iran to inaugurate ethylene pipeline

The National Petrochemical Co. (NPC; Tehran) says the West Ethylene Pipeline, connecting two ethane crackers at Assaluyeh in the south of Iran with several downstream plants, will be completed during the current Iranian calendar year, which began on 21 March. Abbas Sheri Moqqadm, managing director of NPC, told a press conference in Tehran that the pipeline will supply feedstock to 14 plants along its route.
