Iran Outlines Petrochemical Plans

National Petrochemical Co. (NPC; Tehran) is pressing ahead with previously announced plans to become a major producer of petrochemicals. Mohammad Hassan Peyvandi, director/planning and development at NPC, outlined the company’s progress and aspirations in an interview with CW last week at the annual CW/SRI Consulting Middle East Petrochemical Outlook Conference, held in Dubai, where he also gave an address.
