India eyes urea project at Iran's Chahbahar petchems hub

India has proposed to build a urea manufacturing plant at the petrochemicals hub at Chahbahar, Iran, using natural gas as feedstock, Iranian news agencies report. India has also agreed to provide Iran with financial assistance to develop the Chahbahar port. Iran recently confirmed that it is setting up a major petrochemicals hub at Chahbahar, on the coast of the Gulf of Oman.
