Chevron Phillips Chemical Studying Construction of Petchems Complex in Iraq

Chevron Phillips Chemical (CPChem) has signed a letter of intent to develop an integrated petrochemical complex in the Basra province of Iraq, Bloomberg reports citing Hanaa Al Husseini, spokesperson for the Ministry of Industry and Minerals (Baghdad). CPChem would look at building a new petchems complex and upgrading an existing one, Al Husseini says.
