Solvay and Sadara to Form H2O2 Joint Venture in Saudi Arabia

Solvay intends to form an equally owned joint venture with Sadara Chemical Co., a planned partnership between Saudi Aramco and Dow Chemical, to build and operate a world-scale hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) plant at Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The facility, scheduled to be operational in the second half of 2015, will supply raw material for the manufacture of propylene oxide (PO) by Sadara at a world-scale, fully integrated chemicals complex.
