Regions :: Middle East Saudi Firm Plans Soda Ash and Calcium Chloride Complex at Jubail 211:47 AM MDT | November 1, 2011 | Natasha Alperowicz IDEA Soda Ash and Calcium Chloride Company (Isacc; Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia) plans to build a world scale soda ash and calcium chloride complex at the Jubail 2 industrial park in Saudi Arabia at a cost of SF1.1 billion ($293 million). The company has appointed Jacobs Engineering to provide engineering and project management services. Isacc is setting up a new entity, Jubail Inorganic Chemicals Industries Company, to run the new complex, which will be designed to produce 800,000 m.t./year.
