Saudi Arabia Starts Up Huge DAP Complex

Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden) has announces the start of commercial operation at its diammonium phosphate (DAP) plant. The plant is operated by Ma’aden Phosphate Company, a joint venture in which Ma’aden has 70% and Sabic 30%. The complex at Ras Al Khair, Saudi Arabia, marks the completion of the entire phosphate project, which is now fully in commercial operation. The plant’s production will gradually be ramped up to the full 3 million m.t./year...
