Samsung awarded gas and oil separation plant contract in Iraq

Samsung Engineering announced today that it has been awarded a contract for the ENI Zubair oil field development project, worth $840 million. The signing ceremony was attended by Samsung Engineering’s president & CEO Park Choong-Heum, South Oil Co.’s director general Dheyaa Jaafar Hyjam and Carmine De Lorenzo, managing director ENI Iraq. The development of the Zubair oil field is led by ENI with a 32.8% stake, Occidental 23.4%, Korea Gas Corp. 18.8%, and Iraq's state owned Missan Oil Co. 25%.    Samsung Engineering will be responsible...
