Regions :: Middle East Sabic Awards Contracts for Kayan Polyolefin Plants10:59 AM MDT | July 27, 2007 | Ian Young Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Co., a Sabic affiliate, says it has awarded separate contracts to Samsung Engineering and Simon Carves to build polyolefin plants that will form part of Kayan’s previously announced petrochemical complex at Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Samsung will build the complex’s 350,000-m.t./year polypropylene (PP) plant, and Simon Carves will build the complex’s 300,000-m.t./year low-density polyethylene plant.
